Asatru; Home of the Gods! Asatru is a very heavy fantasy wolf RPG from it's powers to it's breeds. The plot revolves around the 9 Gods/Goddesses of it's world: Odin, Freyja, Njord, Aegir, Loki, Eir, Thor, Skadi, and Tyr -- the gods of Norse mythology as we know them -- who during a time of great desperation when the wolves of Asatru proved to be too fragile and unable to adapt to each realms climate/unique build, Odin the wise All Father called upon his small family to make a pact which would save both godkind and wolfkind from the verge of extinction. You see, Gods and Goddesses on Asatru gain their power by prayer...and with the drop in wolf population, they grew weak. Odin proposed that his 8 companions lend him their strength and give to him a fragment of each of their elements so that he may infuse the wolves of Asatru with an aspect of each god/goddess to preserve them and ensure their survival. Some willingly accepted this task, while others were hesitant. From their sacrifice, 18 breeds were created, each unique in their own way and formed after the likeness and image of all 9 Gods/Goddesses! As Odin sleeps, hoping to rejuvenate the power lost in the process of giving such a priceless gift to all, the 8 gods and goddesses still linger about their realms. Some wish for peace...while others wish for havoc and chaos. Can you soothe the wrath of the gods...or will you provoke it?

Please note that Mysidia is rated R for mature content. We would prefer an audience of 16+, but as our site is hosted by us we may be willing to allow a SLIGHTLY younger audience should you show maturity. On Asatru we do not restrict the flow of creative writing and should you wish to not partake in any of our mature content, such as bloody battles or birthing threads, it's as simple as letting others know! We do not force it upon you and highly frown on others that try to.

- Easy pack creation & disbandment to allow a natural flow. We do NOT force anyone to join packs and allow as many new packs to form as they are applied for (so long as requirements are met!).
- Unique pack advantages that give your wolf a reason to join arms with others to defend territory.

- Our 9 Norse God/Goddess wolves that reign over a respectful element & create interesting role play twists, such as changes in weather and plot opportunities to get involved in something big!
- Our powers are referred to as "Runes" in which you're able to manipulate the element the Rune represents, but you also have the ability to "combine" Runes upon obtaining your second to obtain a power completely unique such as Astral Projection, Shape Shifting, and many, many more! You decide which Runes your character receives!
